Magazine Address Booklet Update:


I heard from Council today and the deadline for turning in the Magazine Address Booklets to me is this Sunday, October 23rd.  You can drop them off at anytime in the cooler by my front door.    I will also be at the Leader's Meeting this Thursday, October 20th and you can give them to me then.


From Council:  Project Thank You donations UPDATE:

 
We were notified by our vendor this morning that we can no longer take any Project Thank You Magazine donations.  No worries!  All Project Thank You donations received AFTER the initial order and onwards will be recorded as Nut donations.  Troops will STILL receive their $1.00 in proceeds, and girls will STILL receive their incentives for any of these donations.  The donations will STILL go to the Military.  The only difference is it will be a nut donation versus magazine voucher donation.  Contact us if there are any questions.


Additional Fall Product Sale orders:


We have had numerous questions on how the process works for troops/girls after the initial order is due for fall.  Hopefully this answers most of your questions!

  1. Girls are allowed to continue to sell through November 6th
  2. The troop leader or Tammy will pick up additional product from the Shop Warehouse (the only cupboard for Fall Sale).
    1. When they pick up the product Council will put what was given to the troop in Nut-e
    2. It is the troop leader’s responsibility to assign the boxes that were assigned to the troop to the specific girl.  Please inform the leaders that this feature is not up on Nut-e yet.  If they have questions on how to assign the boxes to the girl we can help them as they pick up their product from the warehouse.
  3. The girls’ incentives will continue to calculate throughout the whole sale.  Just make sure to pick shirt size (if applicable) at the end of the sale.
     
    *There is no requirement on the Fall SU Manager’s to help with getting additional product from the warehouse after the initial pick up.

Please contact me FIRST before contacting Council.  I will make a trip down to Council.  Email me ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) by Sunday, October 23rd by 10:00 pm and I will pick up product on Monday, October 24th. You can pick up your product at my house that night from 5:00-9:00 pm.  This will be the only pick up I will be making; after October 23rd you will have to pick up product from Council Warehouse.

You can pick up additional product at the Council Warehouse Cupboard.

Incentives:

Troop leaders do not put anything in except the shirt size (if applicable) for the girl.  Their order will automatically update the incentives for the girl

Yes the incentives will continue to add up through Nov. 6th

Magazine Sales:

 
Online Magazine: this sale continues until Nov. 6th.   The troop leader should be asking the girls to print out their online magazine sales recap at the end of the sale.  The leader then enters this information in Nut-E.  If this is done the information will be captured on the T-2 report.

From Council Regarding Financials:


We will be debiting only the amount due council.  The troop will retain their proceeds from the total amount collected.  If you look at the report tab and download the “T2- Nuts/Candy & Mags” the last number in the lower right corner is the amount that we will debit on 11/14.  This report will provide you with the financial detail.

Important Dates:

Sept 24th – Oct 8th – Take Pre-Orders


 Oct 10th– Input initial orders/incentives from girls in Nut-E. "Input initial orders/incentives from girls in Nut-E BUT keep taking orders until Nov 6th (email Tammy with these additional orders by Oct 23rd).


 Oct 15th – 20th – Drop-off  magazine books & Pick-up product at Tammy’s house


 Oct 23rd – Address Booklets due to Tammy (drop-off in cooler by front door)
                      -  Additional Orders due to Tammy; after this date Troops will have to pick up their product from Council Warehouse


Oct 22nd – Nov 6th – Girls deliver product to customers


 Nov 6th - Last day for Online Magazine Sales/Girls Print out Online Magazine Sales Recap/Product Manager inputs sales into Nut-E


  Nov 10th – Troop money due in bank


 Nov 14th – ACH Debit


 Mid-December – Incentives Delivered

 

Acceptable ACH Debit Bank Account Info from Council:

There are MANY troops in the process of changing to Wells Fargo, if you are one of those troops please read the bullet points below:

  • Please still sign and turn in the ACH Form for your troop.
  • If you have a check, even if it does not note your troop number, please still attach the check or a copy of a check
  • If you do not have a check please write the account information in the area allotted for the voided check
  • We are working on getting a list directly from Wells Fargo that has both the troop number and bank account information
    • HOWEVER- we still need the ACH form signed from each troop to authorize the ACH Debit
  • Let the area for the voided check be the way for each troop to communicate to us what is going on.  If a troop still just doesn’t have any information to write down, have them write something like “In the process of changing banks, will send information once received”
    • Remember the key is they need to sign the form regardless

If you are with Chase or any other bank please read the bullet points below:

  • Because no troops should be opening new accounts with any bank except Wells Fargo we will accept the following:

    • A voided check

    • A copy of a bank statement with account number and troop number

    • A copy of a check

  • Anyone with these bank accounts need to fill out the forms as noted in the manual.
